Creamy Chipped Beef Dip

CREAMY CHIPPED BEEF DIP

Ingredients:

16-ounces Cream cheese, softened & sliced

4½-ounces (2-jars) Dried beef, chopped

1-cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

½-cup Sliced green onions

1-teaspoon Dry mustard

1-teaspoon Salt

½-teaspoon Pepper

½-cup Chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions:

Combine softened sliced cream cheese, chopped dried beef, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced green onions, dry mustard, salt, pepper and chicken or vegetable broth in a medium to large bowl. Pour mixture into a 2 to 3-quart slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until mixture is melted and hot. Serve right away with bread, crackers, chips or veggies.

Makes 26 servings, 2 tablespoons of dip per serving

Note: If you don't have any broth on hand just use bouillon cubes with water and I have used milk and that works well. I have added 1/2-cup of finely chopped nuts for a little crunch or celery finely chopped. If you add the nuts or celery just be sure to add them in at the end so you keep the crunch.
