Why I finally bought a Kuhn Rikon Duromatic pressure cooker

A couple of years ago I wouldn't even have considered buying a pressure cooker. I thought it was a device from the past nobody was using anymore. The other thing was I was kind of afraid to use one because of all those stories they were a potential danger. Then, I read an article about pressure cooking where it was stated that you can save up to 2/3 of the time employed with traditional cooking methods. And I'm all about saving time because I'm a full-time working mom of two small kids who is always struggling to find a couple of more minutes. Then my sister bought one and she was enthusiastic. So, I decided to borrow hers for a few days just to see how it was going to work for me. Guess what, after three days I was hooked on.
